About the Role:
Long Term Futures is recruiting a proactive and experienced Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive all-through school in Croydon. This role focuses on supporting students aged 11-18 across a range of core subjects, with particular attention to those with SEND needs.

You will work closely with classroom teachers to manage behaviour, engage students in their learning, and enhance lesson delivery to ensure all students can thrive in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students across core subjects, helping them stay engaged and on task
• Support students with SEND, implementing strategies to meet their individual needs
• Assist classroom teachers in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons
• Manage student behaviour effectively, promoting a positive learning environment
• Work 1:1 or in small groups with students who require additional support
• Help to create a structured and supportive classroom environment that encourages progress and participation

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working with students aged 11-18, ideally in a secondary or all-through school setting
• Experience supporting students with SEND and knowledge of strategies to meet their needs
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to keep students engaged
• A proactive and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of learners
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Additional Information:

• Full-time role, Monday to Friday
• Paid up to 105 per day, term time only
• Based in Croydon, London - with excellent transport links
• Immediate start, with potential for a long-term placement
