Description

The Accounts Assistant will;

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Handling day-to-day financial transactions including verifications, record keeping and processing of data
• Supporting month-end and year-end close process
• Maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Process invoices including coding of costs & managing approvals
• Manage accounts email inbox
• Monitor daily communications and answer any queries
• Create payment requisitions
• Prepare month end accruals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Manage & post month end journals
• Performing reconciliations of accounts
• Manage new supplier setups & amendments

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• A strong understanding of accounting principles
• AAT Qualified
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• A qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work in a team and individually
