Machine Operator

MET are currently for a Machine Operator based in the Netherton area!

Job description

Key Duties:

Carry out skilled TIG welding work and make good repairs to a high standard
Set and run welding machine; plasma welds rods to links
Prepare and load components onto the machine and make any necessary adjustments to produce the best results.
Inspect and measure finished products
Willing to learn new skills and other CNC machines.
Confident working in a team in a busy factory environment.
You have minimum 2 years experience.

Shifts:

Training on mornings, then moving to afternoons

Pay:

Required to operate semi automatic stainless steel welding machine must be capable of repairing faulty welds

Full machine training will be provided

40 hours per week possible overtime
