Supply Desk are seeking outreach support workers for a Special Educational Needs School in Portsmouth

Starting from February 2025

Hours: Part-time mornings only 8 30

Pay: up to £13 per hour

Job Description:

• Desire to work throughout Key stage 2 and 3
• Desire to support children with SEMH needs
• Supporting a child with entry level Math and English
• To bring children to school if needed
• Be able to support children with the work provided
• Liaise closely with parents and guardians
• Location: Close to central Portsmouth
• Start Date: February 2025
• Contract Length: Short term Feb 2025- July 2025
• Hours: 20 per week. Mornings only

Individual Profile:

• A nurturing and caring nature
• GCSE Maths and English to A- C grade
• Experience of working with additional needs (desirable)
• Passionate, enthusiastic and resilient individual
• Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
• First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
• Have access to your own car with a clean driving license and ability to have business insurance- travel costs are covered
