Dynamic Cover Supervisors & Unqualified Teachers Maidstone Secondary Schools

Required to Start ASAP Full-Time, Part-Time, Long-Term, or Short-Term Contracts

Supply Desk are thrilled to be working with a variety of highly regarded secondary schools in Maidstone. These schools are known for their inclusive and supportive environments, promoting excellence for both students and staff. We are actively seeking strong and dynamic Cover Supervisors or unqualified teachers with experience covering a range of subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4.

If you possess a calm, consistent, and positive approach, along with a solid understanding of how to effectively support and manage students from diverse backgrounds and with varying abilities, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain on task and engaged.
• Managing classroom behaviour with a firm yet supportive approach, fostering a calm and productive learning environment.
• Adapting to the needs of different age groups and abilities to ensure effective lesson delivery.
• Supporting and encouraging students to complete assigned work to the best of their ability.
• Promoting student safety and wellbeing in and out of the classroom.
• Reporting any concerns or incidents in line with school policies.

What We re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or teaching in a secondary school setting.
• Confidence in covering a variety of subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• A calm and adaptable nature, with the ability to connect with students from all backgrounds.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to provide at least two professional references covering the last two years.
