We are seeking a full-time English Teacher to join our school in Forest Gate on a one-year fixed-term maternity cover contract. • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in English Language and Literature, ensuring alignment with the GCSE syllabus.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted feedback to support improvement.

• Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a respectful and productive atmosphere.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development.

• Strong knowledge of English Literature and Language, with experience teaching the GCSE curriculum.
• Proven ability to deliver well-prepared, dynamic lessons that cater to a range of student abilities.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is preferred.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching.
