Job Advertisement: Part-Time Welfare Officer
Location: Secondary School, Hillingdon
Hours: 3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday), 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Start Date: January 2025

If so, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Part-Time Welfare Officer at our thriving secondary school in Hillingdon.

• Providing first aid and medical assistance to students and staff as required.
• Monitoring and managing students' health needs during school hours, including administering prescribed medication when necessary.
• Supporting students' emotional well-being and referring them to appropriate support services as needed.
• Keeping accurate records of incidents, accidents, and medical interventions in line with school policies.
• Acting as the first point of contact for students requiring welfare support and liaising with parents, staff, and external agencies where appropriate.
• Promoting a safe and caring environment that supports the health and well-being of the school community.

• Valid First Aid certification (essential).
• Previous experience in a welfare, healthcare, or educational setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A genuine commitment to the welfare and well-being of young people.
