Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Full-Time/Part-Time/Contract)
Location: Oxford, starting ASAP January 2025
Salary: £80 - £95 per day, depending on experience

About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and motivated Teaching Assistants to join our team in Oxford. The role involves supporting students in both mainstream and Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings. Whether you're experienced in working with SEN students or you have a strong background in mainstream education, we are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting the learning and development of children. The position is flexible, offering full-time, part-time, and contract opportunities, and starts in January 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons to students in mainstream and SEN schools
• Support students on a 1:1 or small group basis, ensuring their individual learning needs are met
• Help with classroom management and maintaining a positive, focused learning environment
• Provide support for students with additional needs, including learning difficulties, behavioural challenges, and emotional support
• Assist in preparing and organizing classroom materials and resources
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
• Work collaboratively with other teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students
• Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A Level 3 qualification or at least 6 months experience in an educational setting
• Experience working with children in either mainstream or SEN settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude toward supporting students of all abilities
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
