Position: Ad-Hoc Cover Supervisor

Pay: £85 - £95 per day

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Ad-Hoc Cover Supervisors for secondary schools in the Swadlincote area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and has the ability to manage classrooms effectively in the absence of the regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes of students in the absence of the teacher, ensuring that students remain on task with pre-set work.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Provide support to students as needed, offering encouragement and guidance.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during lessons.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom and maintain discipline.
• Flexibility to work on an ad-hoc basis, covering different subjects and year groups.
