Locum Practice Nurse Needed in Surrey area

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Practice Nurse to support one of our GP surgery that we work with. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong experience in delivering high-quality patient care and a desire to make a real impact in the community.

Location: Guildford
System Used: EMIS
Start Date: February 2025
Duration: Until the end of March 2025
Days Required: 1 2 days per week (flexible)
Hours: 8:30 AM 6:00 PM
Hourly Rate: £30 £35 per hour (dependent on experience)
Parking: Onsite parking available

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Practice Nurse to provide temporary cover at our welcoming and supportive GP surgery. This role offers flexible coverage for 1 2 days per week, from February through to the end of March 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality core Practice Nurse services, including:
  • General health checks
  • Cervical screening (smears)
  • Dressings and wound management
  • Immunisations and travel vaccinations
• Ensuring patient care is delivered effectively and efficiently

Bonus Skills (Desirable but not Essential):

• Spirometry
• Asthma management

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 3 years of experience as a Practice Nurse
• Proficiency with the EMIS system
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously
