Science Teacher (QTS) - Nottingham

Education Personnel are working with a school in Nottingham who are seeking a dynamic and passionate Science Teacher to join their dedicated team!

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Science lessons to students of all abilities. You will play a crucial role in creating a stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of Science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons that align with the National Curriculum.
• Assessing student progress and providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Setting and marking work to a high standard.
• Encouraging and supporting student participation in science activities, experiments, and competitions.
• Maintaining effective relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues.
• Contributing to the wider life of the school.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge in science
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A passion for teaching and learning
• The ability to inspire and motivate students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
• Experience with Science practical work
• A track record of raising student attainment
