Job Title: Building Regulations Principal Designers

About the Role:

My client are seeking Building Regulations Principal Designers to support a significant 5-year project focusing on Higher-Risk Buildings (HRBs) across England. The work involves upgrading and replacing telecommunications equipment on high-rise buildings, ensuring full compliance with the Building Regulations 2010, the Approved Documents, and associated guidance.

This exciting opportunity includes working on design reviews, compiling building regulation applications, and ensuring all work meets the standards for higher-risk buildings.

Who We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will be an expert in Building Regulations and could come from one of the following professional backgrounds:

Registered Building Inspector or Building Control Approver seeking a new challenge.

Architect or Architectural Technologist with extensive experience in interpreting Building Regulations and managing compliance.Key Skills and Knowledge Required:

Strong understanding of the Building Regulations 2010, including the Approved Documents and relevant guidance.

Familiarity with HRB secondary legislation is highly beneficial.

Experience in design review processes and managing building regulation applications.Project Details:

The project involves work on higher-risk, high-rise buildings across the UK, with a focus on the installation of new telecommunications equipment for a major client. Candidates may work from any of the company's office locations.
