Warehouse Supervisor - 12 month Fixed Term Contract

The Role

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you'll be responsible for a designated area within our warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Flexibility is key, as you'll need to cover various areas as needed. In return, we offer:

Key areas of responsibilities include:

Pick & Despatch:

* Ensure accurate picking, checking, packing, and despatching of products to avoid damage during transit.

Goods In:

* Safely receive products, including returns, check against delivery notes/POs, book in and put away efficiently, resolving queries promptly.

Assembly:

* Re-label and re-package products to a high standard, fulfilling customer requirements and prioritising back orders.

Inventory:

* Maintain stock integrity through thorough processing, system transaction auditing, physical cycle counting, and ad-hoc stock checking.

Key Responsibilities of Warehouse Supervisor:

* Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflows in your designated area.

* Lead a team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.

* Drive Health & Safety initiatives and ensure compliance.

* Maintain stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.

* Train, develop, and support a multi-skilled team.

* Communicate effectively across departments and external stakeholders.

Experience and Knowledge requirements

* Proven experience in warehouse operations and team leadership.

* Strong Health & Safety knowledge and a track record of safe practices.

* Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

* Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.

* Hands-on leadership style with a focus on collaboration.

* Physical ability to manage warehouse activities (standing, lifting up to 20kg).
