Looking for a challenging and rewarding role in software development? We’re hiring a Software Engineer to contribute to innovative projects, shape high-quality software, and work alongside a dynamic and supportive team.

Software Engineer

Based in Norwich or Hybrid working, ideally with at least 2 days per week based from our Norwich office, however, alternative working patterns will also be considered.

*    Full time, Monday – Friday (9am – 5:30pm) – 4 days per week considered

*    Initial 18 month fixed term contract

*    £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

The Role

As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in the design, development, and maintenance of our cutting-edge software solutions. Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll contribute to creating high-quality applications while ensuring Agile practices and technical specifications are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

*    Software Development: Write, test, and maintain clean, efficient code; focus on C#, ASP.NET, and Blazor; deliver innovative solutions.

*    Problem Solving: Analyse and resolve technical issues; design creative solutions.

*    System Design: Contribute to architecture and participate in code reviews.

*    Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams and foster innovation.

*    Client Support: Provide technical support and maintain strong client relationships.

*    Documentation: Create and update technical documentation.

*    Learning & Growth: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

The Ideal Candidate:

You’re a proactive, self-starting professional with a passion for technology and a commitment to excellence. You thrive on solving complex problems and take pride in producing high-quality software. About you:

*    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

*    Strong programming skills in C# and ASP.NET.

*    Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.

*    Excellent problem-solving abilities and a logical mindset.

*    Strong communication and teamwork skills.

*    Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.

*    Experience with Blazor and/or Azure Cloud development is desirable.
