Stores operative Role!

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Stores Operative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a stores or warehouse environment, with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork. Holding a valid FLT license is highly desirable, as it will enable you to contribute effectively to the smooth operation of our stores and stock management processes.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Days Only)
Responsibilities:

• Stock Management: Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods, ensuring accurate documentation and quality checks.
• Order Picking and Packing: Prepare and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently.
• Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock counts, report discrepancies, and maintain an organized and tidy storage area.
• FLT Operations: Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move stock within the warehouse (if FLT license is held).
• Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics environment.
• A valid Forklift Truck license
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely as part of the role.
• Basic IT skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
