Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced Year 3 Class Teacher to join a vibrant school in Handsworth on a full-time, one-year contract starting in February 2025. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the class, including lesson planning, delivery, and assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of Year 3 students.
Take full responsibility for student learning, progress, and assessment.
Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Communicate regularly with parents to support student development.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Year 3 teacher or similar primary role.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Key Stage 2.
Excellent classroom management and assessment skills.
Passion for teaching with a focus on student progress.

Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS
Minimum 1 year Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
