Job Description

We are currently seeking dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants with experience in managing challenging behaviour and supporting additional learning needs to work in a large Secondary School based in Blaenau Gwent.

About the Role:

• Full-time position, with potential for permanent placement for the right candidate
• Working in a diverse setting with pupils who may be disengaged or NEET
• Supporting pupils to achieve academic progress
• Collaborating with teachers to maintain an engaging and innovative learning environment
• Demonstrating strong behaviour management skills and excellent communication
• Upholding the school's policies and ethos

Requirements:

• Level 3 NVQ certificate in Children's Learning and Development or equivalent or
• Experience in supporting students with English and Maths
