Job Description

Foundation Installation Engineer required for a major offshore wind developer based in Germany

Responsibilities

HSE performance through design and implementation to eliminate or reduce risks during construction, operation and maintenance

Evaluation of potential ports as port for storage and load out of foundations

Prepare and execute relevant documents for the FOU installation ITT Technical evaluation Transportation and Installation proposals during tender stage

Support of the Contract manager in the preparation of variation orders and claims

follow up the preparation for execution activities and required interfaces, and support on technical aspects of the transportation and installation.

coordinate within the project of assignment, as well as across-projects (with similar roles in other projects) to ensure delivery as per objectives and company standards (including but not limited to).

Review method statements and risk assessments and produce comments sheets.

Perform or oversee engineering calculations

Advise on the contract technical requirements,

Write the technical specifications,

Assess the technical aspects of tenders

will assist the Engineering Manager with tasks associated with ensuring a safe design and may be asked to give advice to risk and programme reviews

Provide input to the risk and programme analysis.

Respond to technical queries or interface with other packages/Contractors to resolve queriesRequirements

Engineering background with strong knowledge in foundation installation incl. selection of the right tools for monopile installation (impact hammer, drill), noise mitigation, noise monitoring and a focus on installation of transition pieces and/or secondary steel structures

Significant experience in the offshore wind industry (5+ years)

Significant and in-depth experience in Project Management of offshore foundations in either the Offshore Wind Energy industry or Oil & Gas
