Main Duties

We are looking for experienced Duct Fitters with ventilation installation experience who is also multiskilled to be able to assist with ADHOC duties. The individual needs to be self-sufficient in completing duct work tasks. The ideal person would be adaptable, understands the needs of a project, and fully competent. This person must be logical, practical, and able to use their experience/initiative to both foresee and overcome site-based problems.

Essential Requirements:

- Competent working from mechanical drawings
- Good understanding of HVAC, Fire Damper and Kitchen Extract Systems
- Ability to provide accurate technical hand drawn schematics and measurements
- Installation of ductwork, fire dampers and fan units of all types.

- Specifying and Surveying ductwork

- CSCS card

- Installation of Spiral, rectangular and square duct work.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety, measures & procedures
- Self-motivated, comfortable with decision making and lone-working
- Driving Licence
- High level of numeracy and literacy
- IT skills

Desirable:

NVQ Level 3 in duct installation

Experience with ductwork leakage testing
