Our school caters to students aged 5-19 with severe social communication difficulties, complex learning disabilities, and challenging behaviours. We take pride in providing a therapy-based education, ensuring every child receives the tailored support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver a bespoke curriculum.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students.
• Assist in creating a safe and stimulating learning environment.
• Promote positive behaviour and social interaction.
• Support students with daily routines, therapy sessions, and educational activities.

About the Role:

• Classes range from 4 to 10 students, grouped by ability and social needs rather than age.
• As a Teaching Assistant, you will be integral to the holistic development of our students.
• Based in Cranleigh, Surrey, the school offers a supportive and collaborative working environment.

What We Are Looking For:

• A compassionate and empathetic individual with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to the unique needs of each child.
• Commutable to Cranleigh, Surrey
