Role - Environmental Enforcement Officer

Duration - 3 month contract (potential extension)

Location - East of England

Rate - DOE p/h Umbrella

A local authority client of mine, based in the East of England are seeking an experienced Environmental Enforcement Officer to join their team for 3 months with a likelihood of extension.

The majority of the work will be primarily to patrol the area, engage with the community, educate on environmental issues, and enforce legislation by issuing Fixed Penalty Notices when necessary. Predominantly you will respond to public and other enquiries regarding litter, waste and dog fouling enforcement and to respond to these appropriately and also undertake investigation into reports of littering, fly-tipping, dog-fouling and other similar offences.

This role offers very flexible working patterns on a hybrid basis.
