About this opportunity:

As a member of the client’s Media Global Infrastructure Architecture team, this role will contribute to the roadmap of our infrastructure designs and own the design work for specific product and customer solutions. Working closely with and developing positive relationships with teammates both locally and within other countries. Additionally, there will also be collaboration with other technical specialists, and with the infrastructure delivery and operations teams to deliver the outstanding solutions on which the business operates.

What you will do:

• Gather business and technical requirements for the solutions being considered

• Create and implement Azure-related Infrastructure designs for central Infrastructure platforms and to support deployment of the client’s Media’s cloud based and on-premise applications/services

• Ensure end to end completeness of Infrastructure Technical Design, including non-functional requirements

• Ensure alignment to design and security standards and influence solutions towards the Infrastructure future state model.

• Working with the implementation teams to ensure that delivered solutions match customer and stakeholder requirements and any other tasks needed to ensure successful delivery towards the end customer, including documentation and handover to support

You will bring Subject Matter Expertise in planning and implementing Azure solutions including:

• Azure Networking, including private access to Azure Services and network security through Firewalls, VPN, and SASE

• Azure Enterprise Applications including application delivery services and hybrid AD connectivity

• Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions

• Zero trust architecture design principles

• Design and deployment of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Entra ID, including ADFS, SAML and associated authentication techniques

• Microsoft Security Practices including experience in the design of group policies, machine hardening & management.

You will also need basic knowledge around:

• Core enterprise network design & infrastructure.

• Networking fundamentals

• Use of 802.1x for network access control

• Microsoft SQL architecture and integration of core infrastructure technologies.

• Architecture and implementation of identity & access and privilege management across a large-scale organisation.

• VMware, Hyper-V and other Virtualization Technologies.

• Linux architecture & integration with Active Directory
