KV Jointers

Morson Group is currently recruiting for KV Jointers for our client based in the East Anglia region, to start ASAP on a 12-month contract basis. The successful candidates must have, previous experience working on Substations and working as a KV Jointer, with also previous experience undertaking this type of work is essential and current holder of DNO competencies is preferred but not essential. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the CDM requirements associated with this type of work and be able to demonstrate their previous Health and Safety performance. Work includes multiple primary transformer and switchgear changes. When not being utilised on this work due to scheme programming the resources will be utilised on the Quality of Supply works.

The role:

This role will require the individuals to work as part of a team delivering a portfolio of work in the eastern region , jointing and connecting new 132kV Circuits, replacing primary (33/11kv) transformers and associated plant, carrying out enroute joints and cable terminations In addition there will be a requirement to undertake self-managed qualify of supply schemes involving secondary substation asset replacements. Previous experience undertaking this type of work is essential due to the short mobilisation time, current holder of DNO competencies, is preferred. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the CDM requirements associated with this work and be able to demonstrate their previous Health and Safety performance. Work includes multiple primary transformer and switchgear changes.

Ideal candidate:

Current holder of DNO competencies is preferred.

Good knowledge of the CDM requirements associated with this type of work.

Able to demonstrate their previous Health and Safety performance / CDM regulations.

Previous experience working on Substations.

Contracted Days: Monday – Friday.

Daily Rate: £350 LTD (PAYE & Umbrella payments also available)

Location: Bury St Edmonds area
