TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Primary school in Sunderland who are currently looking for a Qualified Teaching Assistant on a long term temporary basis supporting KS1 students. This is a vibrant and welcoming school, one that is committed to creating the best possible educational experience for each child.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled Learning Support Assistant looking to support young children in their learning development. The successful candidate will have an immediate start start and have a genuine enthusiasm supporting students and teachers. Your responsibilities may include classroom preparation, delivering phonics and the national curriculum and record student progress.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2/Level 3 in Supporting and Learning
• Develop creative and inspiring lessons that engage students
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1 /KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Excellent classroom management
