School Caretaker Needed Hereford

Immediate Start

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, versatile, self-motivated caretaker, responsible for security, safety and maintenance of a Secondary School in Hereford. The successful candidate will carry out a range of duties ensuring the building, furnishings and site are safe, secure, and maintained to the expected standards of the Governing Body. Experience of a similar role is essential, with knowledge of Health & Safety legislation desirable.

Hours are 32.5 hours per week, on a split shift basis. Lettings and school events during the school week may require later working for which additional hours are paid.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) clearance is required for this role.

This post requires a Children s Barring List Check.

The role will be initially until the end of March, but the position may well be extended.
