Job Description

Warehouse Operative / Storesperson / Picker & Packer required to join a leading engineering manufacturer in Manchester.

The successful Warehouse Operative / Storesperson / Picker & Packer will work on a contract basis, assembling engineering parts and components for compressed air systems as well as booking goods in, picking and packing along with administration duties inputting data.

The Warehouse Operative / Storesperson / Picker & Packer will ideally have warehouse experience, computer literate and willing to commute to the workshop near Walkden

Salary: circa £14 per hour.

Warehouse Operative / Storesperson / Picker & Packer Role

* Booking and checking deliveries, preparing parts for dispatch, and managing delivery administration.

* Building parts kits using stock items and maintaining a healthy stock profile.

* Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organized, and adhering to workflow processes.

* Answering phones and assisting customers during busy periods.

* 2 weeks contract work with the possibility to be extended.

Warehouse Operative / Storesperson / Picker & Packer Requirements

* Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.

* Punctual, polite, and capable of working on their own initiative.

* Computer literate with knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

* A counterbalance FLT license is desirable but not essential.

* Commutable to the warehouse in Walkden
