DevOps Engineer – 6 Month Outside IR35 Contract

3 days a week on site in Manchester

Are you a DevOps Engineer looking for your next exciting contract? We’re offering a 6-month Outside IR35 opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and enable teams to build and release software efficiently, securely, and at speed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a key part of the Enabling Team, you will collaborate with development teams to implement best practices in source code control, environment management, automated builds, and software releases. Your expertise will help streamline the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and ensure a faster flow of work through automation and continuous improvement.

Key Deliverables:

* Define and document SDLC processes and environment configurations across teams.

* Standardise and implement source code management tools.

* Enhance observability, monitoring, and alerting to improve system reliability.

* Automate build and release processes, including CI/CD pipelines.

* Develop and maintain a backlog of continuous improvement initiatives.

* Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to drive best DevOps practices.

What We’re Looking For:

* Strong experience in DevOps on SaaS Platforms / low-code solutions.

* Proven track record in implementing and standardising SDLC across multiple teams.

* Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management.

* Deep understanding of observability, monitoring, and application performance.

* Knowledge of solution design, system architecture, and security best practices.

* Excellent technical documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.

* Agile mindset with experience working in Agile development environments.
