Job Title: Electrical Improver

Location: Wakefield

Contract: Temp to Perm

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)

Salary: £17 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

We are seeking an Electrical Improver to work for a leading facilities management company.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake fault finding on infrastructure including low voltage power and distribution systems, lighting systems including Emergency lighting. UPS, IPS supplies and standby generators.

Carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections and commission and test in accordance with published procedures.

Complete all report sheets and test certificates as necessary and mark up any drawing alterations.

Complete all Task/Risk Assessment sheets relating to work.

Carry out emergency repairs as required (which may require overtime).

Skills and Experience Required:

Recognised Electrical/Engineering Apprenticeship - HNC, ONC, City & Guilds, or equivalent experience.

Electrical experience in commercial environments

BS7671(18th Edition).
