Position: IT Technician (Short-Term Contract)

Location: Ipswich (Must be in the local area)

Are you an experienced IT Technician with a passion for supporting educational environments? Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive IT professional to provide short-term IT support across a network of schools. Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues in multiple school locations.

Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems for staff and students.

Maintain and update IT systems, including servers, Wi-Fi networks, and user devices.

Assist with the installation and configuration of new hardware and software.

Ensure IT infrastructure aligns with school policies and security standards.

Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with non-technical users.Requirements:

Proven experience as an IT Technician, ideally in an educational setting.

Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as network systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and school-specific IT systems is a bonus.

A valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle (essential, as travel between schools may be required).

DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance, or willingness to obtain one
