ALN Teaching Assistant
ALN Teaching Assistant
Location: Cardiff
Contract: Full-Time
We are seeking a dedicated ALN Teaching Assistant to join our team, supporting pupils in a Specialist Resource Base (SRB) class within a mainstream school setting in Cardiff.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to children with Additional Learning Needs.
Work closely with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
Support pupils in developing their academic, social, and emotional skills.
Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Essential Requirements
Experience: Demonstrated experience supporting children with ALN in a school setting.
Qualifications: Current DBS certificate (Enhanced Disclosure) and registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of pupils
