Cover Supervisor - Stoke-on-Trent Area - Immediate Start!

About the Role: Cover Supervisor

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of the classroom, ensuring that students remain engaged and focused while following a pre-planned lesson. Your role will involve managing classroom behaviour, delivering learning materials, and supporting student's educational journeys. Take the lead in the classroom, following lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.

Manage student behaviour effectively, ensuring a focused and respectful learning environment.

Offer support to students, helping them to stay on track with tasks and assignments.

Ensure that students remain engaged with the lesson and actively participate in their learning.

Report any issues or concerns back to the appropriate school staff.

Maintain a calm and positive classroom atmosphere, ensuring students remain motivated and productive.

Be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of school settings, across different age groups.What we're looking for:

Previous experience in a classroom environment, either as a Cover Supervisor or in another educational capacity (ideal but not essential).

Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage behaviour with confidence.

A passion for working with young people and supporting their development.
