Job Description

Hill McGlynn are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Tester to start work on a commercial contract in Kilburn, North London.

This role is being offered on a self-employed contract basis with an hourly rate up to £28 DOE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and inspecting electrical systems and components to ensure they meet safety and performance standards. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct electrical testing and inspections on various systems and components.

* Identify and diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and tools.

* Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

* Document and report test results, including any defects or issues found.

* Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve electrical problems.

* Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.

* Stay updated with industry standards and advancements in electrical testing technology.

Required:

- 2391 or 2394 Qualifications

- JIB Approved Card holder

- 3 years of Testing experience

- Fully qualified BS 7671 (IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition).

- Own calibrated kit ( not essential )
