Scope of the role:
* Providing administration support to the HR teams, completing daily and monthly reports, answering telephones and responding to emails.
* 6 month fixed term contract
Monday to Friday (08:00 - 16:30
Bonus paid on completion of 6 months
Summary of the role:
Reporting to the HR Business Partner
Develop professional relationships with Key stakeholders across the business paying particular attention to confidentiality and data protection.
Manage the HR System Data uploading and providing information when requested.
Ensure paper and electronic employee files are held securely updated as appropriate.
Ensure paperwork held within the HR database is kept in an orderly manner.
Gather and report key data associated with the management of people across ALG.
Update relevant people spreadsheets and provide information for various reports periodically.
Update absence management tracker and raise OHO referrals.
Ensure Absence system holds the correct information and mirrors the absence tracker.
Circulate absence and people reports to relevant people as required.
Raise contracts of employment and appropriate letters for onboarding.
Respond to internal and external requests for employment data paying particular attention to data protection and confidentiality.
Ensure HR inbox queries are dealt with in a timely manner, request support from HR team as appropriate.
Skills & Experience:
* Assist with the roll out of HR Benefits and colleague engagement activity.
* Assist with the capturing of pay and benefit data for annual pay negotiations.
* Support with external benchmarking of pay and benefits.
* Support with ER matters including advising and notetaking at meetings.
* Assist with People Projects as required.
Job Knowledge:
* Support the continuous improvement of people practice across the business.
* Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, email and MS Teams or similar.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Pro-active and self-motivated.
