Storeman

Location: West Bromwich (B70)

Rate: £35ph

48 hours a week

Immediate Start

Nelson Permanent Placements are currently looking for a Storeman to start on-site in West Bromwich on behalf of our client who are a market leading Electrical Engineering Contractor.

You will be required to oversee and manage the stores, counting/issuing stock and assisting contractors/tradesmen on tools and appropriate equipment needed.

Please note - You will be required to have an initial call with the Project Manager on-site.

Storeman Duties:

* Managing deliveries and tracking incoming materials.

* Keeping stores clean and tidy.

* Looking after plant and site tools on a daily basis.

* Weekly Inspection & reporting of Harnesses.

* Maintaining calibration records.

* Sorting materials for Tradesmen (as per each Supervisor).

* Working with the Construction Manager on stock requirements.

* Maintaining levels of site PPE and stock levels

* Using a bespoke Asset System (full training will be provided).

* Managing the vehicles & plant.

* Running team of Labourers and Stores staff.

Storeman Requirements:

* A Full UK Driving Licence

* Warehouse experience and understanding electrical install materials.

* A Valid CSCS Site Card
