Job Description

Paying between £45-£50K (Day Rate Equivalent), we are recruiting an experienced Management Accountant on an Interim basis (initial 3 months) for this social housing provider based in South Manchester. This role offers a wide variety incorporating an all-round management accounts BAU support role whilst acting as a Finance Business Partner alongside the Finance Manager, supporting stakeholders

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and oversee the production of monthly management accounts
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments to gather necessary data
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls, maintaining the integrity of financial data
• Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and liaising with external auditors as required
• Act as a finance business partner to non-financial stakeholders, offering guidance and insight on financial matters

About You:

• You must be immediately available (or on short notice) for this role
• You must have proven experience as a Management Accountant (Qualified or By experience is equally valuable)
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and budgeting, with a focus on attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with staff at all levels
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in finance software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to adapt to new systems
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a desire to contribute to the team s success
