Job Title: Strategic Repairs Lead (3-6 Month Contract)

Location: Hybrid (Office/Remote)

Contract Duration: 3-6 Months

Rate: 450 per day

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and flexible Strategic Repairs Lead for a 3-6 month contract to support our housing sector operations. The successful candidate will oversee the strategic direction of the repairs function, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery across a diverse housing portfolio. This role requires someone who can manage multiple teams of repair managers, drive performance, and work under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the repairs function, overseeing a team of repair managers and ensuring they deliver high-quality services.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Review and analyze performance reports, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on strategic objectives and performance targets.
• Ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of repair services, meeting agreed SLAs.
• Manage, review, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring targets are met consistently.
• Adapt to fluctuating workload demands and be flexible to work weekends or outside of regular hours when required.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to managers within the repairs team to drive performance and staff development.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in the housing sector, with a focus on repairs and maintenance services.
• Previous experience managing teams of managers and driving team performance.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present performance data and reports.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with fluctuating workloads.
• Immediate availability to start the contract is essential.
• Highly flexible, with the ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
