General Teaching Assistants (Full-time & Part-time Opportunities)Location: Wolverhampton Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Contract: Full-time & Part-time positions availableAre you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? • Assist with the delivery of learning activities for students with special educational needs.
• Support the class teacher in managing the classroom and promoting a positive, productive learning environment.
• Work with individual students or small groups to deliver targeted interventions and support.
• Help with personal care needs where appropriate.
• Support students with their social, emotional, and behavioural development.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of individual learning plans.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and other professional development opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children, especially in a school setting, is preferred.
• A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• A calm, patient, and flexible approach when working with children.
• Qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification are desirable but not essential.
