Banksman/ Warehouse Operator

North Greenwich, SE10

Ongoing Contract

Monday-Friday, 42.5 hours per week

£14.33 per hour

Weekly pay

Working for a busy manufacturing & production facility on site who are urgently seeking an experienced Banksman with background in warehouse to work on the site premises.

The experienced Banksman will be responsible for but not limited to:

Starting operating area Gatehouse

Responsibility for controlling all traffic in and out of the premises around the scaffolding area

Managing traffic in coordination with the gate house using the radio

Raising IRIS tickets for non-compliances

Ensuring site safety and site speed limits

At idle times, you must be able to help in the warehouse tasks, but not disregarding the main function

Helping tidies the Yard, moving pallets and clearing cardboards and other warehouse waste

Due to the nature of site the successful Banksman MUST HAVE previous demonstrable experience and Banksman certificate/card

You must understand & be prepared for the physical nature of the role, and be available to start ASAP, ideally within the next 2 weeks.

This is an on-going contract role, paid weekly, working Monday to Friday

Possess previous Banksman experience

Hold a Banksman certificate/ card

Can provide full, 5-year checkable references

HOURS OF WORK

42.5 hours per week

7.30am - 5.00pm (Monday- Thursday)

7.30am - 3.45pm (Fridays)
