Primary SEND Individual Needs Assistant

Location: Crawley, West Sussex

Pay: £83.40-£95.26 per day

Hours: 08:30 – 15:30

Contract Type: Part-time

Supply Desk are seeking passionate and dedicated Individual Needs Assistants to join our team, supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in primary schools and provisions in Crawley and the surrounding area. This role offers flexibility, with opportunities to make a real difference in the lives of young learners with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

‍ Provide 1:1 support for children with SEN, adapting to their unique learning needs and implementing EHCPs.

Create a positive, inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and development of every student.

Manage challenging behaviour, using appropriate de-escalation techniques.

Adapt to different school environments and work collaboratively with staff.

Requirements:

✔️ Experience working with children with SEN (including Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties) is highly desirable.

A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with SEN.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

️ Current DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
