Are you a practical and creative professional looking to support students in their learning? Education World is seeking a dedicated Design Technology Technician to join one of our valued partner schools in Newcastle.

THE ROLE:

Assisting teachers in preparing materials and resources for Design Technology lessons.

Maintaining and organizing tools, equipment, and machinery in the workshop.

Ensuring health and safety standards are upheld in all practical activities.

Providing technical support to students during lessons and projects.

Full-time position with competitive pay of £90-£110 per day (dependenton experience).THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Practical knowledge of design tools, machinery, and equipment (e.g., 3D printers, laser cutters, or woodworking tools).

Experience working in a school workshop or similar environment is advantageous.

Strong understanding of health and safety practices.

Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to apply immediately).
