Education World are working with multiple settings in Newcastle to recruit various Behaviour Support Assistants to work across key stage 1 to key stage 4, with children that have been diagnosed with Special Educational Needs (SEND) and/Or Social, Emotional Mental Health (SEMH).

SEMH Needs: Challenging Behaviour, Anxiety, Depression and Trauma.

SEN Needs include: Autism, ADHD, mild to severe learning difficulties and Physical disabilities.

Applications for the position are welcome from candidates of ranging experience although previous experience working with students with challenging behaviour is an advantage due to the nature of the roles.

*You will:*

Have experience working with children either aged between 11-18 years or 2-11 years

Be confident at managing challenging behaviour

Be able to demonstrate your ability to build professional relationships with students

Have a fun but firm presence

Have an interest in education
