Job Title: Machine Operative

Location: Sheffield

Shifts: 4 on 4 off, 10-hour shifts

Salary: 12.23 with 17% shift allowance

Metalis are currently in partnership with a well-established steel company based in Sheffield who are looking to hire a Machine Operative on a 12-week temporary to permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To assist with operating rolling mill machine
• Ensure you are assisting with mill set ups during size/pass changes
• Support production schedule
• To cut and remove scrap
• To perform any maintenance of rolling mill if needed

Salary and Shifts:

• 4 on, 4 off - 10-hour shifts
• 12.23ph
• 12 weeks temporary to permanent contracts
• Drug/Alcohol and Medical Testing required
