Storeman

Location: Darlington

Contract: 6 Months with possible extension

Rate : GBP £17ph – £20ph Depending on shift times

IR35 Determination: inside

Our major rail client is looking for a stores controller to join their team in Biggleswade. They will be responsible for maintaining stock levels, supervising the movement of goods as well as issuing in a timely and efficient manner.

There will be a variety of shifts times subjected to:

* 21:00-06:30 Nights

* 07:30 – 17:00 days

* Weekend nights. - tbc

Experience

* Experience working with construction and engineering equipment

* Experience working with stock management systems

* Manual handling and first aid competent

* Must hold CPCS Telehandler licence, counterbalance and Reach FLT licence

* Must hold driving licence

Key Accountabilities and objectives

* To manage store and stock allocation

* Logging the movement of goods within the warehouse

* Raise purchase orders

* Maintain stock take and count

* Maintain a safe working environment, following health and safety procedures
