Cover Supervisor

Smile Education is collaborating with a vibrant secondary school in Leicester to find a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their team, starting as soon as possible. If you’re passionate about supporting students and maintaining an engaging classroom environment, we encourage you to get in touch. This position can be full-time or part-time!

As a Secondary School Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment for students. You will facilitate the learning process and ensure students’ engagement in the absence of the regular teacher. Your adaptability to support the diverse needs and abilities of students is critical. You will be working alongside a fun, dedicated, hardworking, and professional staff body who will support you in reaching your potential.

The successful candidate must have:

A bachelor’s degree in education, a related field, or relevant experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous experience working with children.

A genuine passion for supporting students and motivating them to excel.Tasks Required:

Handing out pre-planned lessons from the class teacher.

Ensuring a high level of classroom behavior management.

Supporting students who need additional help.
