Material Planner

Peterborough (remote - 4 days from home)

initially 12-month contract

circa £21 per hour

2-stage interview (virtual)

Certain Advantage is working in partnership with a prestigious manufacturing organisation operating within the automotive sector who are looking to hire a Material Planner.

Your responsibilities:

* Conduct daily reviews of material planning panels to ensure supply aligns with demand.

* Release new purchase orders to guarantee product availability within required timelines.

* Monitor supplier order boards and update planning systems with relevant data.

* Manage purchase order change requests and re-schedule to optimise lead times.

* Provide accurate information to customer order management teams for effective planning.

* Participate in end-to-end planning meetings to review open orders and address potential issues.

* Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.

* Follow standard work procedures, process documentation, and quality standards.

* Conduct quality checks on planning parameters such as inventory levels and reorder points.
