Are you an experienced Brake Press Operator looking for an exciting opportunity in the aerospace industry? Our client, a leading organisation in aircraft interiors, is seeking a skilled individual to join their dynamic team in Leighton Buzzard. Summary:

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: 6 months with potential to be extended or made permanent
• Location: Leighton Buzzard
• Pay Rate: 24.00 per hour
• Hours: Mon-Thurs 7.00 - 16.00 Fri: 7.00 - 12.00
• OVERTIME AVAILABLE

As a Brake Press Operator, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality components. Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and operating Amada press brake machinery according to the daily production plan.
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications with precision.
• Conducting regular quality checks to ensure all components meet rigorous quality standards.
• Maintaining machinery through standard TPM schedules to ensure optimal performance.
• Promoting and adhering to a safe working environment at all times.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
• Following all company EH&S and compliance guidelines diligently.
• Upholding housekeeping, 5S, and FOD rules to maintain a best-in-class organised workspace.

What We're Looking For:

• City and Guilds qualifications or relevant experience in press brake machining within a precision engineering environment.
• A strong background in the use of brake press machinery.
• Extensive knowledge of brake press tooling and inspection measuring equipment.
• An eagle eye for detail and confidence in producing components to high-quality standards.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding complex engineering drawings and data.
