Suitable candidates will ideally come from a marine/shiprepair background but other heavy industries will also be considered, but you must be NVQ level 3/equivalent qualified.

Due to the nature of the contract, you must be eligible for MOD security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

Performing precise plating and fabricating tasks on marine vessels

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and diagrams

Utilising tools and machinery to shape and assemble metal components

Ensuring all work meets industry standards and project specifications

Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times

Completing tasks within specified timelines and budgets

Conducting quality control checks on finished products

Contract Details:

Standard working hours are 37 per week, with opportunities for overtime

OT (Monday - Friday): £29.31

Saturday: £32.55

Sunday: £36.38

Early Shift: £29.31

Back Shift: £30.32

Night Shift: £31.33

Non local (Over 39 miles)

Standard: £32.70

OT (Monday - Friday): £32.55

Saturday: £32.55

Sunday: £40.42

Early Shift: £36.00

Back Shift: £37.00
