Suitable candidates will ideally come from a marine/shiprepair background but other heavy industries will also be considered, but you must be NVQ level 3/equivalent qualified.

Due to the nature of the contract, you must be eligible for MOD security clearance.

• Performing precise plating and fabricating tasks on marine vessels
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and diagrams
• Utilising tools and machinery to shape and assemble metal components
• Ensuring all work meets industry standards and project specifications
• Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
• Completing tasks within specified timelines and budgets
• Conducting quality control checks on finished products

• Standard working hours are 37 per week, with opportunities for overtime
• 12 month contract

Non local (Over 39 miles)
Standard: 32.70
OT (Monday - Friday): 32.55
Saturday: 32.55
Sunday: 40.42
Early Shift: 36.00
