About the Role:

Future Build Recruitment are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a Tier 1 contractor on a wastewater treatment project in Bournemouth. This freelance role is an immediate start and will run until the summer of 2025 with a chance of possible extension with future work in the area.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and ensure adherence to Quality Assurance (QA) protocols.

* Carry out Setting Out for various parts of the project.

* Manage and execute work related to ducting, drainage, finishing works, and concrete piling.

* Provide strong leadership and support to junior and graduate engineers.

Requirements:

* Extensive experience in a Senior Engineer role, ideally in water treatment or similar civil engineering projects.

* In date site tickets are key to a quick start – CSCS/SMSTS/First Aid are desirable.

* Strong technical knowledge of ducting, drainage, concrete piling, and finishing works.

* Proficiency in RAMS, ITPs, QA processes, and setting out.

* Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
