We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to step into the role of Director of Employability, Partnership, and Skills on a fixed term (Maternity Cover), full-time (35 hours per week) basis. This leadership position requires strong business development experience, particularly within an educational setting, as well as a proven track record of managing and leading business development teams. You will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies that link education with industry, driving employability initiatives, and fostering long-term partnerships with employers, stakeholders, and educational partners.
As Director, you will lead the development of employability, partnership team working closely with the curriculum teams to equip our students with the skills and experiences required by today's employers, while also supporting the growth of strategic industry partnerships. Your leadership will ensure our institution remains at the forefront of skills development and industry engagement, offering students real-world opportunities and enhancing their employability outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Degree Level Qualification.
Minimum Level 2 maths and English.
Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development.
Significant experience in leading & managing in a diverse, complex and rapidly changing environment.
Considerable experience in developing and implementing a changing curriculum.
Significant experience working with and building effective relationships with industry and key internal & external stakeholders.
Considerable experience of working cross functionally with a range of services, stakeholders and departments to meet shared goals.Benefits
Successful candidates will be offered a salary of between £44,064 - £69,151 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
